Calima Energy acquires Canada s Blackspur Oil

Calima Energy has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of the issued share capital of
Blackspur Oil, a privately held Canadian company which owns producing oil and natural gas assets in two core areas within Alberta, at Brooks and Thorsby.
Blackspur’s operations include two high quality assets with 2P reserves of 22.5 MMboe, 1P reserves of 16.7 MMboe and PDP reserves of 5.4 MMboe. Q4 2020 production average of 2,600 boe/d (70% oil).
The successful merger with Blackspur will transform Calima to a high margin oil & gas producer leveraged to WTI pricing targeting > 5,500 boe/d by December 2022 plus exposure to rising natural gas prices via its strategic holdings in the Montney Formation. The deal is valued at C$60,000,000 (inclusive of C$43,000,000 in debt) plus working capital adjustments and includes all assets, reserves, production and the management team of Blackspur.

CBI) has arrested two
customs officers for allegedly demanding a bribe of over Rs 19 lakh from a private company in Maharashtra for releasing 60-kg silver seized by them, agency officials said on Thursday.
The CBI has alleged that customs assistant commissioner (preventive) AP Bandekar had demanded Rs 15 lakh and
customs superintendent (rummaging and intelligence) Niraj K Singh had sought Rs 4lakh from the company for releasing the seized cargo.
The two officers have been sent to CBI custody till Saturday, they said. It was alleged that a Kolhapur (Maharashtra)-based private company had purchased 74 kg of silver from a private company based at Ahmedabad on October 05, 2020.

Hidayah-1 exploration well, located within the
North Madura II Production Sharing Contract (PSC), offshore East Java, Indonesia. PC North Madura II is the operator with 100 per cent participating interest in the North Madura II PSC.
The Hidayah-1 exploration well was spudded on 7 January 2021 and safely drilled to a depth of 2,739 metres. The well encountered an oil-bearing carbonate build-up with good reservoir qualities in the Ngimbang carbonate formation and tested at approximately 2,100 BOPD with good crude quality. The Hidayah-1 exploration well results will be further assessed to ascertain its potential.
